My car insurance renewal letter arrived a couple of days ago. I spent 15 minutes on hold trying to speak with their customer service department this evening as the premium had jumped by 25% for no reason.
Finally spoke to a gentleman and I told him I wanted to cancel because of the huge increase in the premium. He asked if they could check the price again and asked how much I had been quoted elsewhere. Within a few seconds he came back with a 30% cheaper quote for the same policy. Happy days and worth waiting a few minutes on the phone!
